The Lunch

by Ben Gunn

Dear Diary,

Lunch awaited us across town and VW’s seems to be the way to go.

Bugs and Beetles populate the streets like locus with steering wheels,

and horns run amuck every 3 seconds in a constant heartbeat of laid back driving skills.

Colourful vendors greeted us at every corner, as we leaned out the window exchanging goods for services in an orchestration of south of the border commerce.

Dr Dolittle led us to a cute little ‘Book and Tea Cafe’ where we ate like royalty with 5 bucks apiece. We all gave a $5 tip to complete the meals atmosphere, which is now encased in our memories.

lunch with beauties sipping soup

Vegetables are grown local

My Tastebuds fainted

Bugs that kissed windshields

Wiped off by thunderous rain

Visuals that stick
